Privacy policy
Last updated 22 September 2026. Applies to leadprove.com, app.leadprove.com and the LeadProve Chrome extension. The extension has its own short policy as well.
Who we are
LeadProve is operated by Recipealls ("we"). You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect, and why
About you, the customer
- Account details — your name, work email, optional phone number, company name and a hashed password. To run your account and reach you about it.
- Sign-in records — session identifiers, sign-in times, IP address and browser type. For security: throttling guesses, letting you sign out everywhere, investigating misuse.
- Billing — handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the events Stripe sends us; we never see or store your card number.
- Usage — every lookup, credit charge, refund and grant, in an append-only ledger you can read in full from your dashboard.
About the people you look up
- The name and employer you send us from a LinkedIn profile, the work email address we find or you enter, a phone number if you enter one, and the statuses and notes you add. These are your leads: visible only to your account.
- Facts about addresses — the mail domain, whether a mailbox was confirmed, whether it bounced, where it was published — are kept by the engine and shared across customers as facts about the address, never with who looked it up or why. This is what lets a bounce protect every customer.
We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics, and the site and app contain no third-party trackers. The only cookie is your sign-in session.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or resell your leads or a database built from them.
- Read anything from LinkedIn other than the profile you clicked on.
- Send email to the people you look up. We find addresses; you write.
- Share personal data with anyone except the processors below.
Processors
- Stripe — payments.
- Hunter — email-finding data provider, sent a name and a company domain when our own rungs come up empty.
- Twilio — carrier lookup for phone numbers you enter.
- Cloudflare — network and DNS in front of the service.
- Vultr — hosting.
- Our transactional-mail provider, for sign-in and billing email to you.
Retention
Your leads stay until you delete them or close your account. Sign-in and security records are kept for 12 months. The credit ledger is kept for the life of the account and for seven years after, as a financial record. Address facts in the engine are kept while they remain useful and re-verified periodically.
Your rights
You can export your leads at any time from the dashboard, edit your name and phone, and delete individual leads. To close your account, correct data, or ask what we hold about you — or about you as a person someone else looked up — write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK or California you have the rights those laws give you, and we honour them for everyone.
Security
Passwords are stored as memory-hard hashes; API keys and session tokens are stored only as hashes; all traffic is over TLS; access to the server is by key only. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you promptly.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date, and email account holders about anything material.
