LLeadProve

How it works

From a profile page to an address you can send to, and what happens at each step.

1. Read the page you have open

When you click the LeadProve icon on a LinkedIn profile, the extension reads two things already displayed: the person's name and their current employer. That is the whole read. It does not touch your messages, connections, feed, or any other tab, and it never scrapes an email address off the page.

2. Work out the company's real domain

"Allied Consultants, Inc" is alliedconsultants.com, not alliedconsultantsinc.com. LeadProve generates the candidate domains a staffing firm would actually use, checks which of them run real mail, and corroborates against what the company says about itself before spending anything.

3. Find and grade the address

The engine works down a ladder: addresses we already hold for that domain, the domain's known naming pattern, a direct mail-server check where the server will answer, and a data provider only when the cheaper rungs come up empty. Whatever comes back is graded, not just returned:

PROVEN

Tier A — billed, 1 credit

The mail server confirmed the mailbox, or the address is published on the company's own site (or on two independent sites) within the last 18 months, or a previous send was delivered. We will stand behind it.

UNPROVEN

Tier B — free, labelled

The domain accepts every address ("accept-all") so nothing can confirm this one. It follows the company's known pattern and is a reasonable guess. You decide whether to use it; we do not charge for it.

MISS · FREE

Repeats and misses

An address you already bought is free forever on your account. A lookup that finds nothing we can stand behind costs nothing.

4. Close the loop

In your Leads tab, mark each contact Delivered ✓ or Bounced ✗ once you have written to them. A delivery promotes an unproven address to proven. A hard bounce demotes the address for every customer and refunds your credit automatically — the refund is a row in your ledger you can read, not a support request.

What "proven" does not mean. It does not mean the person will reply, or that a giant company's gateway will let mail through. It means the address exists and belongs to that mailbox as far as the evidence shows. We publish the rule; we do not promise a hit rate.

Your LinkedIn account comes first

A restricted LinkedIn account costs more than any number of credits. The extension is built to be the tool that is not the reason.

It reads, it never writes

Nothing is injected into the LinkedIn page. No buttons, no overlays, no hidden elements — LinkedIn's own scripts see an unmodified page.

Nothing in the background

No observers, no timers, no polling. The reader sits idle until you click the icon. It does not open tabs or visit profiles on your behalf, and it does not walk search results.

Paced like a person

At least eight seconds between lookups, no more than fifteen in ten minutes, and a daily cap that defaults to 40 (maximum 80). A refused lookup does not use your credits or your day's cap.

Uses LinkedIn's page, not its API

The extension calls no LinkedIn endpoint. Your lookups go to LeadProve's server with two fields: the name and employer you were already looking at.

LinkedIn's rules are theirs and unpublished; nothing here is a guarantee. It is a set of defaults chosen so that the tool never behaves like a script.

Phones

Paste a number you already have and LeadProve checks with the carrier whether the line is live and whether it is a mobile or a desk — one credit when it is confirmed, nothing when it is not. Phone discovery from a name alone is not included today.
